NEW TRUSTEES TO BE ELECTED – WE NEED YOUR VOTES!

Dear Winter Heights Residents,

You may or may not know that after many years of service to our community one of our trustees has decided to take a break from the board and “pass along the torch”.

We will miss your efforts Amanda Durkin and thank you for all you have done!

In consideration of the tasks currently before us, there is GOOD NEWS! We have three volunteers all wishing to serve on the board giving assistance to our remaining trustees Doug Napoleone and Todd Golsch. Oye Ajayi-obe, Rob Jardim and Stephen Paulin are ready and willing to join Doug and Todd increasing the Winter Heights board of trustees to five members giving us the ability to distribute the work load and conduct business more rapidly and efficiently. This should benefit both the community and the trustees.

Here’s how the Winter Heights residents can help:

  1. In order for five trustees to serve our community the charter must be amended.
  2. A ballot will be sent to each household to vote to amend the charter to specify that instead of three trustees to serve the board that the board of trustees may consist of three to five trustees.
  3. This is an inexpensive and simple process BUT requires a 90% majority approval.

Would you help us help our community? Please respond to the US mail ballot when it arrives in your mailbox and please vote in favor of increasing the maximum size of the board of trustees. Many hands make light work! Thank you.
